- The Dempsey Heavy Punching Bag is handcrafted with premium Horween leather. Seamed with a beautiful gaucho braid of leather lace.
- The gaucho knot braid is hand-laced with an eye toward detail and perfection.
- The rope is European 100% organic hemp rope. 16mm. Unbleached. Undyed. Chemical free. Spliced for strength.
- Punching bag is hand sewn using a durable thread imported from Germany.
- The Horween leather has a strong, distinctive pull-up. It will age beautifully with a gorgeous patina over time.
- Every hide of leather is slightly different than the next. Therefore, every punching bag we create is slightly different than the next. Each is one of a kind. Rugged and Refined.
- The Shou Sugi Ban boxing bag stand is handcrafted with cedar timber beam and oak peg mortise and tenon.
- The frame is wrapped with European 100% organic hemp rope.
- In the center of the load beam, a Crosby Bullard .5 ton closed swivel bail hook secures the punching bag with a smooth trusted movement.
** The boxing bag frame is free-standing. However, you will need to anchor the top beams, side beams, or back beams to a stud in the wall to stabilize the unit for a boxing workout. Anchor brackets are available. Anchor brackets sold separately. Securing the frame is the responsibility of the buyer.**
